Methods Resources There are many, many excellent resources that deal with issues related social research methods. Here we provide links to some of the most useful. If you would like to recommend a resource please email david.doherty@colorado.edu. The links below are organized into several categories: Software: Information on how to use Stata, SPSS, R, and other software. We also provide links to resources on how to use Latex (a typesetting program used by many academics) and BibTex (a reference management utility that intefaces with Latex). Quantitative Approaches: Resources related to the use of quantitative methods in social research. Qualitative Approaches: Resources related to the use of qualitative methods in social research.
