Katy Sirles
B.A. in Sociology, University of Alaska, Anchorage. 2002.
Birthplace & History: Born in Kansas City, Missouri. Katy grew up in Wisconsin and at age 13 moved to Alaska where she stayed through college.
Research Interests: Criminology, Women in Crime, Sociology of Gender and the Socialization of Women.
Personal Interests: Katy is lucky enough to own the cutest australian shepherd in the world named Reggie. He is well loved in the sociology department. Her other interests include ballet, the outdoors, petting Reggie, loving Reggie, and taking Reggie for walks.
Ali Hatch

Birthplace & History: Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin but raised in Denver, Colorado and Washington, D.C.
Research Interests: Sociology of Gender, Feminist Theory, Ecofeminism and Environmental Sociology.
Personal Interests: Ali spends her quality time with Chief, her overweight cat. Additionally, Ali loves to read and travel.
Allison Foley

Birthplace & History: Born in a small farming community in northwestern Illinois and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Research Interests: Criminology, Violence against women, Social stratification, Juvenile delinquency.
Personal Interests: When Allison is not spending time with her cat, Madeline, she can often be found teaching herself to cook. She enjoys all water-related outdoor activity, specifically boating and camping, and loves to travel.
